Greater Bridgeport Transit (GBT) provides local, regional and express bus services throughout the Bridgeport region with routes extending from Milford to Norwalk and from Bridgeport to the Naugatuck Valley.
Our website has been designed to provide you with all of the information you will need to take full advantage of our services and to better understand connecting services and other mobility options.
We have included a map click-through map showing all of the routes in the GBT system along with timetables and maps for individual routes. Web-Watch is our real-time information system that allows you to track your bus and register for alerts related to your travel plans. You will also find a trip planner to help you understand the best route for you. On the home page, you can register to receive real-time alerts about GBT service changes and we have placed links to our Facebook page and Twitter feeds providing alternatives for you to keep in touch.
There is information about all connecting bus, rail and Long Island Sound ferry services including the Norwalk and Milford Transit Districts, the New Haven Line rail services and the Bridgeport and Port Jefferson Ferry. Contact information for commuter services offered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation has also been included to assist you with carpooling, vanpooling and other commuter options and incentive programs.
