A free shuttle for seniors in the East End of Bridgeport launched on Saturday, April 21, 2012. Due to the lack of grocery stores in the East End, a grant from the City of Bridgeport is funding this service so that seniors have access to affordable food. The shuttle will run every Saturday to Price Rite on Boston Avenue and service the following senior centers: Fireside, Bishop Curtis, Roncalli, and Tower II.
GBT welcomes the first riders onto the new East End Shuttle.
