Blizzard Warning for Connecticut

GBT Newsletter | February 8, 2013

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for the entire state of Connecticut, from Friday 2/9/13 through Saturday 2/10/13. A combination of strong winds, heavy snow and low visibility is expected to create dangerous to impossible travel conditions. Also, wind may be strong enough to bring down trees and power lines.

Because the snow and wind may impede travel conditions and limit visibility, delays and detours in GBT bus service may occur.

Please be sure to allow for extra time for travel and consider your return trip.

During the storm, we'll be posting regular updates to Facebook and Twitter and will also make announcments via local news and radio stations. Details are listed below.
