Please join us for the CTrides Week kickoff at the GBT bus station. CTrides encourages commuters to try alternatives to driving during the week of May 12 - 16.

The event will highlight some of the ways CT is working to create more options for commuters. Scheduled speakers include Alejandro Valentin and Jody Santoro from CTrides, Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch and GBT CEO Doug Holcomb.


We’ll have people on hand to talk with you about commuting options and programs as well as a variety of rewards and giveaways at the event. Hope to see you there!

  • Metro North train connections - Nearly all GBT buses connect with Metro North in Bridgeport.
  • Derby train and bus connections – GBT Routes 15 and 23 connect at the Derby train station where riders can connect with Valley Transit or Metro North.
  • Trumbull – Routes 3, 4, 6, 8, and 19X connect riders from Trumbull to Metro North in downtown Bridgeport.
  • Monroe – Route 19X connects commuters from Monroe with Trumbull Mall and with bus and train connections in Downtown Bridgeport. Routes 14 and 20 connect commuters from Monroe to Trumbull Mall where riders can connect with other GBT routes.
  • Norwalk – GBT connects with Norwalk Transit buses via the Coastal Link (CL) route
  • Milford - GBT connects with Milford Transit buses via the Coastal Link (CL) route




Cyclists Welcome!

All GBT buses are equipped with bike racks so that cyclists can easily take their bike with them. Each GBT bus can carry up to two bikes.

Presidents’ Day Service
On Monday, February 19, 2018, Presidents’ Day, GBT will be operating on a Saturday schedule. Routes 22x and 23 will also operate.

Join the Greater Bridgeport Regional Council for a public meeting to share your ideas about what you think about the future of our community.

We’ll talk about housing, transportation, water, and other infrastructure investments to make neighborhoods more prosperous, allow people to live closer to jobs, save households time and money, and reduce pollution. Everyone’s input will be used to help us create a Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) for the Greater Bridgeport Region.
