Please join us to hear about service reductions that are being planned for September.
GBT is planning a series of changes and reductions in bus service. In all, the service reduction package is expected to be approximately 2.4% of GBT’s overall operation which translates to about 15 hours of the 606 hours that GBT operates every day.
GBT is currently reviewing ridership trends to identify parts of the service that are not heavily utilized. “We now have systems in place which can provide us with great detail about ridership and we plan to use them to make very surgical reductions that will improve efficiency and impact the fewest number of riders possible,” said GBT CEO, Douglas Holcomb, "Some level of service reductions will be required to maintain a balanced budget."
Detailed information will be released at the public sessions and will be posted at gogbt.com/public-info as it becomes available.
Can't make any of the above dates? GBT staff will also be available inside the Water Street bus station the evening of June 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
