ALERT: CL & Rt 5 Detours FRI 3/14/25, 10 AM – 2:30 PM

Due to the St Patrick’s Day Parade in the Black Rock, Bridgeport, area, Costal Link and Route 5 will detour as follows:

CL Detour:

Westbound to Norwalk:

• Right turn from Fairfield Ave onto State St. Ext, then straight on Commerce Dr
• Right turn on to Black Rock Tpke. Bus travels under I-95, circling to the left and traveling back under I-95 onto State Route 1
• Straight onto Kings Hwy Cutoff / State Route 1 to Fairfield Circle
• Bus resumes regular route

Eastbound to Bridgeport:

• Left at Fairfield Circle onto Kings Hwy Cutoff / State Route 1
• Right onto Black Rock Tpke
• Left onto Commerce Dr to State St Ext
• Bus resumes regular route, crossing over to State Street

Route 5 Detour:

• Right turn from Fairfield Ave onto State St Ext, then straight on Commerce Dr
• Right turn on to Black Rock Tpke. Bus travels under I-95, circling to the left and traveling back under I-95, then back onto Black Rock Tpke
• Left on Commerce Dr to State St Ext
• Bus resumes regular route, crossing over to State Street
