Director of Planning and Service Development
Salary range: $86,000 – $120,000
The Director of Planning and Service Development is responsible for a wide range of activities related to increasing ridership and advancing the role GBT plays in its service area, including the management of a wide variety of projects, from inception to completion and is responsible for the maintenance, analysis and reporting of data, including reports to the National Transit Database and FTA Milestone Progress Reports.

Manager of Maintenance Operations
The Manager of Maintenance Operations has bottom line responsibility for all aspects of GBT’s fleet maintenance program. This is highly responsible supervisory and technical position which ensures that the fleet and maintenance equipment are kept in a state of good repair, meeting all safety and regulatory requirements and the needs of riders.

Bus Drivers, Mechanics & More
Foreperson
The Maintenance Foreperson has bottom-line responsibility for safely ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of all vehicles and supervises all non-managerial and non-supervisory maintenance personnel during his/her shift and is responsible for ensuring an adequate supply of buses ready for pullouts as well as for providing ready replacements for buses that break down while in service.

Performs skilled automotive mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of Greater Bridgeport Transit Authority automobiles, trucks, buses, heavy and light equipment, both diesel and gasoline powered; and other mechanical equipment. CDL required.
