Rt 6 Detour, Phase 2 – Beginning Monday August 5, 2024

M-F: 7am-3:30pm

Due to construction on Old Town Rd in Trumbull, GBT bus route 6 will be detoured.  Lindeman Dr, Oakview Dr and parts of Old Town Rd will not be serviced during this detour. The detour will occur on weekdays from 7am to 3:30pm. Riders should expect delays and possible changes to the detour route during this time. The bus will follow the regular route outside of these hours.

The detour is as follows:

Northbound from Bus Station (to Trumbull Mall):

1. Left from Reservoir Ave onto Old Town Rd
2. Left onto Red Oak Rd
3. Continue onto Eastway Rd
4. Right onto Lake Side Dr
5. Right onto Woodbine Cir
6.  Left onto Dexter Dr
7. Right onto Cumberland Dr
8. Left onto Old Town Rd
9. Continue on regular Route

Southbound from Trumbull Mall Hub (to bus station):

1. Right from Old Town Rd onto Cumberland Dr
2. Left onto Dexter Dr
3. Right onto Woodbine Cir
4. Left onto Lakeside Dr
5. Left onto Eastway Rd
6. Continue onto Red Oak Rd
7. Right onto Old Town Rd
8. Right onto Reservoir Ave
9. Continue on regular route

The following stops will not be served:

Northbound:

• Lindeman Dr at Reservoir Ave in Trumbull
• Lindeman Dr at 30 Lindeman Dr in Trumbull
• Lindeman Dr at 40 Lindeman Dr in Trumbull
• Lindeman Dr at Utility Pole 4573 in Trumbull
• Lindeman Dr at Oakview Dr in Trumbull
• Oakview Dr at 23 Oakview Dr in Bridgeport
• Oakview Dr at Old Town Rd in Trumbull
• Old Town Rd at Horseshoe Dr in Trumbull

Southbound:

• Old Town Rd at Forestview Rd in Bridgeport
• Oakview Dr at Old Town Rd in Trumbull
• Oakview Dr at 40 Oakview Dr in Trumbull
• Oakview Dr at Lindeman Dr in Trumbull
• Lindeman Dr at Opposite Utility Pole 4573 in Trumbull
• Lindeman Dr at 39 Lindeman Dr in Trumbull
• Lindeman Dr at 25 Lindeman Dr in Trumbull
• Lindeman Dr at Reservoir Ave in Trumbull

It is anticipated that this detour will be in effect from August 5, 2024 through September 5, 2024, if there are no weather or construction delays.
