Due to construction on the Commerce Street Bridge in Fairfield, the routes 5 & 7 buses will detour on the outbound route to Fairfield, as follows:
- From State Street Extension, Right onto I-95 South
- Exit 24 Chambers St
- Left onto Chambers St
- Right onto Commerce Drive
- Bus resumes regular route
There is no detour on the inbound route toward Bridgeport at this time.
Road construction in the area is expected to continue through 2027. Stay tuned for possible changes in the future.
