Featuring Poetry by Bridgeport Public School Students
GBT is sponsoring the Bridgeport Board of Education’s Words on Wheels program which showcases student poetry aboard GBT buses. A reception honoring these students will be held on Monday, June 3rd at the GBT bus station.

GBT Bus Station
710 Water Street, Bridgeport
At the reception, student poems will be on display at the bus station. Dr. Carmela M. Levy-David, the Superintendent of Schools, will be in attendance as well as other members of the Board of Education, students and their parents, program organizers, and others. Please join us to celebrate these creative young poets!
Words on Wheels is a program led by the Bridgeport Board of Education that encourages students in grades K-12 throughout the entire school district to express their creativity through poetry. GBT is donating ad space inside buses to display 54 poems chosen from over 200 entries. Trans Ad Outdoor is sponsoring this program through donating production and installation of the poems.
