Coronavirus News for GBT Riders & the Public

Modified Bus Service

Effective Monday, December 21, 2020

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, GBT will be temporarily operating a modified service schedule beginning on Monday, December 21, 2020.

The modified service covers 100% of the regular service area. These changes reduce frequency on some routes where service demand is lower and increase frequency on other routes where service demand is higher.

Here’s an overview:

  • Routes 1, Coastal Link (CL), 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, 17 are running modified weekday and Saturday schedules. There are no changes to Sunday service.
  • Routes 19x, 22x and 23, are running one morning and one afternoon trip Monday through Friday.
  • Route 7 is temporarily suspended; riders should use the Coastal Link (CL)

Riders should note that the Bus Tracker will display the modified schedules, effective 12/21/20. However, the Trip Planner will be inaccurate starting on 12/21/20. We will make an announcement once the Trip Planner has been updated.

These changes will be in effect until further notice as GBT is continuing to monitor developments regarding the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
